How much does SEO cost?
This varies depending on the consultant or agency you choose, but I provide simple hourly billing with project based estimates, or can offer monthly retainers to fit around your needs.
I charge £70 per hour, but offer a decreased day rate for block bookings or retainers. Ahead of all projects I can provide an estimate as needed.
Why use a freelancer over an agency?
To put it simply, you get the expertise of an agency SEO expert without the extra costs that come with it.
Having spent several years working at agencies, I know they can deliver results, but by working with a freelancer, you can benefit from:
- The expertise of someone who has honed their skills with agency training and tools, but for a more affordable cost.
- More flexibility to fit your business needs – whether you need a one off job/ project, or require an ongoing monthly retainer.
- One specialist who knows your account inside out – no sudden team switching or unnecessary extras.
How quickly can I see SEO results?
SEO is a long game, and it’s not possible to put a timeframe on results.
There are also many factors at play including the strength of your and your competitors domains, the technical state of your website and even Google’s own regular updates causing fluctuation. You can however be assured that any strategy we work on together will be aligned with your website goals and targets the terms and audience that matter. I can also provide regular reporting if desired.
Do you offer link-building?
No. I personally believe in doing one thing well and for me that is onsite SEO.
I can however work with your link building/ digital PR team to identify target web pages, anchor text and other factors that could boost the visibility of your site.
Can you provide an SEO audit?
Yes! I always recommend auditing to get an idea of where your website is at, and what the key priorities should be.
I can offer a basic audit or comprehensive audit based on requirements.
Where are you based?
I live in the beautiful city of Newcastle in the UK, but offer SEO services to clients globally.
I’m more than happy to meet up with clients within a reasonable distance, or travel for SEO training and workshops in person. Otherwise I offer a remote service so there really is no region I can’t cover.
